Welcome to Momentum of the Muse!

My name is Erin Maher.

I live in Vancouver, British Columbia and I’m pretty much smitten with the place.

My primary method of transportation is my own steam. I care about the environment, have terrific manners, and get along famously with animals. Of course I have weaknesses, too. I like a glass of wine or three, I am totally convinced by infomercials – magic bullet, anyone? – and I ask a million questions during movies. In my defense, Elizabeth Taylor said “The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they’re going to have some pretty annoying virtues.”

I’ve been writing fiction since I was a child; short stories, poems, poems and more poems, a couple of songs, screenplays and one novella when I was twelve. I’m basically a someone who makes other writers hate themselves, like Margaret Atwood, who wrote her first book when she was still in the womb. It’s just how I roll.

Currently, I’m blogging, copywriting, exploring social media, still with the poems, stories, screenplays and add one book.
